How long is the drive from SJO to Jacó?
About 1 hour 45 minutes in light traffic via the Costanera Highway. Add 15–30 minutes during weekday rush (5–7 AM and 4–6 PM) or weekend afternoons.
Where exactly do you pick me up at SJO?
Our driver waits at the international arrivals exterior (Curbside) holding a sign with your name. After you exit customs and walk past the row of taxi/tour kiosks, look for our driver immediately on your right.
Do you wait if my flight is delayed?
Yes. We monitor every flight in real time using its number. If your flight is delayed, your driver waits at no extra cost. If it’s canceled and you reschedule, we move your transfer at no charge.
Can I book a transfer on short notice?
Yes — same-day bookings are accepted up to 4 hours before pickup. For peak season (Dec–Apr) we recommend booking 48 hours in advance.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. Within 24 hours, 50% refund. No-show: no refund.
Are child car seats provided?
Yes — we provide infant, toddler, and booster seats free of charge. Please indicate child ages and weights when booking so we have the right seat ready.
Can the driver stop for groceries or food on the way?
Yes — for private transfers we accommodate one short stop (up to 20 min) at your request. Common stops: Atenas for fresh fruit, Orotina for restaurants, or Walmart in Escazú.
Do you accept cash or only cards?
Both. We accept USD cash, Costa Rican colones (CRC), Visa, Mastercard, and Amex. Online booking pre-pays via card; tipping the driver is appreciated and customary (10–15%).
