Exclusive Beach Day Tour From San José

Enjoy an exclusive beach day at one of the most breathtaking destinations on Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast: Hotel Punta Leona Resort. Just 90 minutes from San José, this natural paradise welcomes you with lush tropical forest, white-sand beaches, and mesmerizing emerald-green waters.

Along the way, you’ll admire stunning mountain views and stop at the famous Tárcoles River Bridge, where you’ll have the chance to see crocodiles in their natural habitat—some up to 7 meters long. Once at the resort, dive into the pristine waters of Playa Blanca, a protected natural reserve and one of the country’s hidden gems. Relax under the shade in your assigned beach space, complete with chairs and umbrellas, and let the ocean breeze and sound of the waves carry you away.

Later, enjoy a delicious à la carte lunch at Playa Blanca Restaurant, a seaside gem surrounded by nature, offering fresh seafood and authentic coastal flavors.

Duration: This is a full-day activity (approximately 10 hours)

• Arrival at the resort entrance: wristbands placed, VIP access cards and towels provided.
• Internal shuttle to Playa Blanca.
• Assigned beach space near the restaurant and restrooms (you may request a change at your own responsibility).
• À la carte lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• At 3:20 p.m., shuttle back to the exit for your return trip to the hotel.

What to bring: Comfortable and extra clothes. Swimwear. Sandals. Sunglasses. Sunscreen. Camera.
