How to get there
It is a four-hour drive or a very short flight from San Jose, as the area is also served by its airstrip. Local air companies such as Nature Air and Sansa are available for the quick hop. Liberia airport is also a short forty minute drive away and serves many international destinations. Many local companies offer reasonable shuttles, and there is also a frequent bus service from San Jose and other areas for just a few dollars per person.
